Cartoonist Lucy Knisley attended both the Art Institute of Chicago and the Center for Cartoon Studies. She’s written two graphic novels, French Milk and Relish, the latter of which was a New York Times bestseller. She’s also worked for many comics publishers including Boom! and Marvel.

Drew this tonight to reward myself for completing half of my work! (half yikes T__T) It’s a Wondy-inspired dress, re-worked based on an old doodle in my sketchbook.

After the first one, the whole design idea I had in my mind for that iconic DC woman.
Inspired by modern attire, her iconic original suit color scheme , with a modern day gladiator/wrestling taste. Neckline is inspired by Padaung necklaces.
